Make Money at Home with Adsense

No offense to anyone, but most Adsense clickers are deep as a puddle. It’s a theory anyway. And I knew that statement would get you to read this make money online with Adsense article. Before you get totally offended if you have clicked on Adsense ads before, hear me out. I’m writing this from an internet marketer point of view, not from that of a Google searcher. For those of you who are trying to make money online, please consider what I’m saying – for different reasons obviously.

After over 2 years of making money online with Adsense, I have come to some realizations. Most of these conclusions came from experience – as do most worthwhile conclusions. One of my conclusions is this: If you want to make money with Adsense, use your brain less. Yes, I just encouraged you to use your brain less, but I don’t mean it in the way you might think I do. What I mean is, in terms of searching for niches and spitting out content to complement the niche, the more intelligent or complicated niches aren’t always best. Save your brain power for coming up with new IM or SEO strategies to boost those mindless niches you are blogging about.

Let me back up what I’m saying with some facts that you can easily verify yourself. Go to YouTube and you will get a surprisingly accurate cross-section of what the general public is interested in or is searching for. What are the most subscribed channels? At the time of this writing, the top 5 most subscribed channels on YouTube are: NigaHiga, Fred (it really scares me, by the way, that “Fred” is holding a poor innocent Pomeranian in the picture on his channel’s wallpaper), Smosh, Shane Dawson TV, and Universal Music Group, respectively. The top 20 or so are basically the same crap, providing undeniable proof that “stupid sells” – not just sex anymore, but also that just plain “stupid” is what people are interested in. Some other worthwhile channels to mention in support of my point are Pyrobooby and Spricket24.

Now, we could sit back feeling hopeless about the world and discouraged at the extent of our youth’s personal growth. Or, we could accept the fact that stupid sells and make money from it. I know that doesn’t help the “cause”, but hey – I’m here to make money online and I assume you are too. I’m telling it like it is.

What does that have to do with Adsense? Build your Adsense blogs around these mindless niches, as these people tend to like to click on ads anyway. These dumb types of blogs are the ones I always get the most clicks on. Literally, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to build niche blogs.

I get a lot of people emailing me to say things like: “I don’t know very much about most things – not enough to make a blog with adequate content about the niche.” You don’t have to! These “stupid” niches don’t require much knowledge. Perhaps you can spend 10 or 15 minutes reading a bit about whatever it is: Britney Spears, talking dog movies, drunk people, or whatever..., grab some Google images of it, and you’re good to go! You’re not writing a bankruptcy law guide, you’re putting up a blog that teenagers, college students, or really immature 50 year olds (haha!) are probably searching for. You want to discreetly encourage them to click on stuff anyway, right?

Go easy on yourself. You don’t need to be a genius or a scholar to make niche blogs. In fact, the general rule is, the dumber the topic the better (as long as the CPC is good!!!).

SPEND YOUR VALUABLE TIME GETTING THE BACKLINKS TO RANK FOR YOUR KEYWORDS. Backlinks are really how to make money online. That’s the bottom line.

I decided to take your advice on this. I'd love it if you had a look at the blog in question and if you had some relevant backlinks, that'd be great (and I also emailed you last week - did you see it?)

Thanks! Esther

Janet, you have to be telling the truth..Amen I had a google person tell me I needed more content...that things had changed and the bare blogs were for those who had already made it, so to speak. I said, okay, I'll change my theme and add content...we'll see if it helps...

Great article and I will try this also.
Thank you

Google Adsense is an easy way to make money from your blog. All you need to do is add a script from Google to your website and start displaying ads.
You will get paid for every time a user clicks on the ad. These are called CPC ads.
What is CPC? CPC stands for “cost per click.” By displaying CPC ads with Google Adsense, you receive a set fee every time an ad on your website is clicked by a visitor. The cost per click is set by the advertiser. (This is in contrast to CPM ads, where you’re paid for ad views instead of clicks. CPM means “cost per thousand impressions,” where M is the roman numeral for 1,000.)
Google Adsense is a good way to start earning money online when you are first starting out.
